Generally the best chippy in the local area. Bit more pricey than some others but the food is always good and the staff are always very friendly.

Assume it's new staff on tonight? Made up the order wrong, to which my husband accepted the mistake, compensated with fizzy drinks - fair enough. Until he got home and found there were less chips with the kebab meat than we would expect for a child's portion!! And the chips that were there were the very bottom of the pan, all the little sharp bits that no one's eats.Usually really good food, portions to feed a family and friendly service, but evidently something a miss tonight. Perhaps too busy with online orders to bother with regular paying customers?
