Great pub. The entertainment cannot be beaten
Me and my other half came here as we got given a 33% off mains gift card which the bar staff asked for the manger. The manager just came across to our table and took the card out of my hand and started talking to ask walking off with her back facing us and just left mid sentence. When she finally came back all got was the code wont work in our machine as she walked pasted us and put the card on the table. We then ordered the cheesy nachos which had no cheese on at all! The staff was quite rude towards us! Will not be returning.Why advertise offers if you cant give them to the paying customers? The bar staff also mentioned to us that she could only give us 25% off which she didnt use.
It's two meals for 10. the food and quality is absolutely bang on for that price also the portion is very good as well. They serve real ale with 10% CAMRA discount and it's a very good pint. It's quiet in the week their so staff level is quite low and the person that's on pretty much has to do everything which was the only downside but she was fantastic.
went for quick meal been on go all day didn't expect to much..But was very pleasantly surprised. choose 2 meals for 10. great value for money . serves 3 or 4 real ales with 10% off for camra members.. nice to get a proper pint without a 15mm head on it.. darts and pool table. but best of all numerous very large TVs with bt and sky on... but definitely worth a visit for the food..
Stood and waited to be served for a good few minutes while bar staff then carried on stocking a fridge instead of serving. Then was very rudely informed upon trying to order a burger that they had no burgers at all in stock. Left immediately
